    Best Deck with Apple Carplay

I hear ya. There are so many good deals on speakers too. My kid is 16, so loud is better than SQ. LOL... I really like the sound of the PPI P.65C3 components, but two sets of those would be just over $500. I was also looking at the NVX XSP65KIT. Not as great sounding, but still pretty good...

    Best Deck with Apple Carplay

Funny thing is, I'm both extremely excited as well as dreading this install. LOL... The guys, in my shop, used to call me Anal. It's almost what my real name sounds like, but it's mostly because they say I'm too anal with my installs. I have a tendency to go a little overboard on my installs...

That Belva unit looks like a good choice. The truck is a DDin, so it will fit. I was hoping to get a SDin so I don't have to fabricate a counsel to install the EQ. However, I'm just being lazy. I'm on board with the HU needing to be a descent product. However, in my opinion, it's not as...

    Best Deck with Apple Carplay

I know nothing about it. I would love to drop $300 to $400 on a name brand, but funds are pretty tight. It's my kids truck, and he doesn't have a regular job. He's a sophmore in HS still. He just dropped $400 on his Clifford 2-way security system.

Anyone know anything about this unit? It's cheap enough to buy and give a try. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0CNYR4ZJM/?tag=caraudiocom-20

I'll check out that Atoto. How long have you had it?

    Best Deck with Apple Carplay

Its a 2004 ranger. I'm doing a big system in it but the budget is getting tighter and tighter. My kid likes to use his iPhone for his music source and would like to be able to display the navigation on the radio as he's running it on his phone. Wireless connection would be nice, but wired...

    Best Deck with Apple Carplay

I have done a lot of research, but as always, there are too many choices and they all seem to get the same review. I'm looking for a deck that has Apple Carplay. It would be best if it's wireless, but wired is okay. I was also looking at the 1.5 din indash screens, but they are all from off...

    How long to install system?

I agree with the other post. It all depends on what is getting installed. How many amps are being installed? What's the amount of power? Will it be a custom box or a pre-fab? I'm guessing you're keeping the radio, so will you be installing a DSP? Will you have custom panels made for to house...

OFC vs CCA for wiring amp to car and for speaker use . . .

I agree with every one above. OFC is much better. Copper is a much better conductor than aluminum.

Stinger out with 4 and 5 channel versions of their monoblocks

If an amp doesn't have space to put RCA's, then have some hardwired RCA's coming out of it.

I like that 5ch, but I really dislike the pig tail RCA connections.

Kicker Key200.4 Amp+DSP with STOCK speakers on '24 Ford Maverick?

For a tweeter, and you're on a budget, you can get bass blockers. It is not the best route, but they will work. Just make sure your installer checks the ohms of the tweeters. The ohms will affect the high pass frequency of the bass blocker.

    Chasing parasitic draw

Disconnect the battery lead at the alternator and see if your power still drains. Or, disconnect everything from the battery so just the battery is connected to the alternator. Then check to see if there is a draw from the battery to the alternator.

    Planning a new sound system🤓

That's a really good choice. Pricey, but still can't go wrong with it.
